Day 4 After Chemo:

Today was much better. I still didn't feel awesome but it was better.

Our elf (Chippy) showed up today, which is one of my favorite things to do during the Christmas season. We had a wonderful breakfast of snowman pancakes, eggs, and hot chocolate in our special Christmas cups. I was glad I felt good enough to do this. O (my busy 3 year old) was ecstatic and I can't imagine missing that look on his face. After breakfast, we had a lazy day of playing, reading, and watching movies.

I experience a lot of tiredness throughout the day. But have been good about napping when O naps. I have been really lucky to have help with O, it makes a huge difference.

Day 5 After Chemo:

Today was like night and day difference. I woke up this morning feeling ok but by mid-day I felt like my old self. I am still taking my medications regularly because I don't like to feel gross. I also have learned that if I eat ALL DAY, I don't get as nauseous. What girl doesn't wish that she could/should eat all day. BONUS. :)

I made it through the evening without help with O, which felt like a huge accomplishment. I played, made dinner, did homework with O, and did our "Christmas activity" for the evening. I LOVED every second of it.

On a negative note: the place I am choosing to order my wig from is being a pain in my backside. Hey wig place...It not only sucks that I feel like crap, that my life plan completely changed, and I won't have hair (which is kinda my thing) but NOW you have to make the wig buying process RIDICULOUS! UGH...my new mission in life is to make human hair wigs affordable, covered by insurance, and an easy process to get. I don't understand the cruelty that is some of the cancer process and it NEEDS to be changed. New life mission!

Here is hoping it only keeps getting better from here.
